Mike started off as a DJ and now, eighteen years down the line, Mike has broaden his skills by using his experience, knowledge and talent to produce a three track EP. Mike certainly knows a quality track when performing to a crowd, creating his particular sound in the studio.
‘You Are Being Watched’ is a perfect example of Mike’s real progression in the studio, which includes the use of cutting edge digital instruments, through to classic analogue drum machines and synths. His love of all genres of House Music and Techno ranging from deep Detroit Techno to Carl Craig and Chicago Jacking tracks. DJ Sneak and Derrick Carter are his inspiration, using local labels such as 2020 Vision.
The three track EP shows to us and every other listener the variation
and depth of Mike’s understanding, knowledge and clear ear. Flowing, yet soft, feel good sounds together with outstanding electronic elements.
Mike has played and performed at clubs in Europe and America from Ministry of Sound to Pacha, Cream, Manumission and Nikki Beach. He was given a break by Steve Hawkins one of the UK's leading club owners and has held long term residency at the award winning Oracle Bar, the Loft, playing everything from House, Techno to Disco and anything in between. Mike’s talent is not only on the decks but also in the studio – Which this release is all about!
