Sooooooooo hereeeeee we are with our 008 release! This one is by Label Head Alex Over called 'Beneath All Depths EP' which also includes two outstanding remixes, one by Jamie Anderson who really does not need much of an intro. Lets just say he is one of the most loved artists in the Tech House scene, in fact some might say he is one of the people who even started the genre itself! In the last few years Jamie has released on some of the world’s most influential labels; Steve Bug’s Dessous, Sven Vath’s Cocoon, Jesse Rose’s Front Room/Made To Play, Alter Ego’s Klang Elektronik, Radio Slave’s Rekids and Louis Osbourne’s Mija Recordings and not forgetting Jamie’s own Artform label which was formed in 1997.

Our second one is by a guy also really getting his name out there, not only doing a cheeky mix at Beatport's office via the live stream a few months back but also releases left right and centre on his own imprint 'Shades Of Grey' and most recent on Saytek's 'Cubism' we are very excited to say Owen Howells has joined in on his second release on Over Recordings.

Alex Over returns on his Over Recordings imprint, dropping a brand new single featuring remixes from Jamie Anderson and Owen Howells...

Brighton based Over Recordings has made quite an impact since its launch last year, with its releases receiving support from the likes of Dubfire, Ian Pooley, Terry Francis to name but a few. At the heart of the imprint’s success has been the driving force of label boss Alex Over, a DJ/producer whose passion for electronic music shines through in everything he does. Behind the decks Alex has proved himself a unique force, playing at venues such as Ministry of Sound, Cargo & The LIghtbox in the Capital as well as securing a residency in Brighton, the most recent of which sees him appearing alongside Ejeca at the Saturday Warehouse nights at Audio (Brighton). In terms of production he has been behind some of the label’s key records to date, from the debut ‘Freedom’ to the superb ’24 Steps’

Now Alex Over steps up once again with a brand new single entitled ‘Beneath All Depths’. The release opens with the original version, an atmospheric and enchanting slice of House music that fuses swirling FX, soaring synth lines and deep pads over a hypnotic staccato rhythm, quality stuff. The first of the two remixes comes from Bristol based producer Jamie Anderson who delivers a superb House mix that uses tightly edited loops and a mesmerizing refrain to keep the listener hooked. Finally we have the excellent Owen Howells who turns in a solid, pulsing mix that utilizes much of the original but brings its only unique style to bear.
